People always ask me, “how lowering your stress level can lead to hair growth”? Well! It is not as complicated as it might look. But, it’s not that simple to resolve, either. Scientifically speaking, stress affects your mental well being the same as diseases can affect your biological wellbeing. Thus, the stress induced by an overactive day can lead to excessive production of the stress hormone – cortisol. Cortisol hampers the process of cell regeneration and affects the production of hair follicles. If stress continues, you may end up with a condition known as telogen effluvium. Write one thing you can do today to reduce stress. Here’s one – Breathe! I noticed one day when I was stressed out that I was literally holding my breath!
